Everything has been designed from scratch and is unique to Soul. Currently there is two different Seats, first up is the Comfort Seat which has a custom foam Seat pad which is adjustable forwards and backward, adjustables hip pads and comfortable backband which adjusts with Heavy Duty Stainless Steel cam buckles, which give even more micro adjustment than ratchets and should last longer too. The 3D Thigh braces come as standard on the Main Squeeze, Booty, Gonzo. These can be rotated to be very agressive or rotated back so easier to get out, they have several slots so can be moved forwards and backwards to get the right fit for you. Below shows the Comfort outfitting in the Main Squeeze
The Other Outfitting option is the Power Seat, which is available in the Light weight Yellow shells and can be retro fitted into Orange boats. The Original Power Seat was amazing in the Riot Kayaks, Corran has taken it to the next level, this seat lifts your centre of gravity higher, which is very tight and supportive, designed to transfer every movement you make through to the kayak, with a strip of grippy Foam. As your are raised so high and your legs are pushed up into the cockpit rim there are no 3d Thigh Braces, you don't need them with this seat as you get a super snug fit. That said the Power seat is not for everyone, I personally like this seat but I did love the original one in the Riot kayaks in the past, if you have over a 34" Waist, I would recommend the Comfort Seat. White Water Consultancy have Both Seats options in Demo Boats so you can try them out or you are welcome to try mine on the river :)
The creek boat foot rest in the Booty Call is an innovative Full Plate system which runs on rails with a pin either side to lock it into position. It is also sprung loaded so expands to fill the space, there is space to slide airbags in-front which I highly recommend in a creek boats and larger river runners. You can also remove the Plate and cross bar to remove weight leaving a large pedal in place, this is not recommended for creeking or where a chance of vertical pin is present, this footrest is strong and lighter than the more traditional Metal bar and Plate systems if a little fiddly to set up initially until you get the hang of it but once in place gives a good brace to push against.
This Hooptie outfitting is Soul basic outfitting which is stripped backed and will be available in the spring. This is mainly aimed at people who break a lot boats and have a donar kayak to pillage parts from and retro fit into the kayak. These come with a Spacious Hung seat, grab handles hull support bar and thats it. These boats will also be heavier thanks to the plastic hung seat compared to the Comfort & Power Seat options in the Skeletor Outfitting. This gives you the option to outfit the old fashioned way with glue and foam to get your perfect fit
